01 / CHOOSE YOUR HARDWARE COMPONENT

Pick a brain competition.

Two distinct emphases.
One interconnected system.

02 / CHOOSE YOUR EMPHASIS

Which side will you play?

How to play

Move. Tap or click one of your pieces, then a marked destination. Men move and capture diagonally forward; kings move and capture both ways, one square or jump at a time.

Capture. Jumps are required whenever available. Complete every jump in a chain with the same piece. You may choose among capture routes; the longest route is not required. Reaching the far row crowns the piece and ends that turn.

Finish. Capture all opposing pieces or leave the computer with no legal move. This game automatically draws on threefold repetition, or after 40 full moves without a capture or uncrowned advance.

Learn. Checkpoint answers never remove pieces or alter a legal move. Both emphases use identical rules. Use Hint to reveal a legal suggestion, Undo round to revisit your last decision, or Pause to reflect.

Keyboard. Tab to the board. Use arrow keys to explore playable squares, Enter or Space to select and move, and Escape to clear a selection. Once a capture chain begins, complete it or use Undo round.

BASIS in one minute

Brain Architecture Substrate Interconnected System. BASIS is Syncohere’s view of physical brain hardware and biological capacity: structures, pathways, connections, networks, resources, reserve, and operating conditions.

Capacity is not the same as processing. BASIS describes the supporting substrate. XL2 describes functional processing. MIND describes lived experience. They are interacting views, not three separate brains.

Use the comparison; keep the whole. Internal, external, and networking are this game’s hardware groupings. Selecting an emphasis changes your learning focus and visual identity—not the value of its counterpart.

Learn the distinction. Keep the connection.
