SYNCOHERE ESSENTIALS

Think completely.
Make it a practice.

A clearer view of the moment. A more deliberate next move. Build the habit of noticing, adjusting, acting, and learning.

Start where you are. Choose one useful adjustment.

THE FOUNDATION

One framework.
Three connected views.

MIND is what you experience. XL2 describes how processing is organized. BASIS supplies the physical capacity that supports it.

THE LIVED EXPERIENCE

MIND

Experience, awareness, dynamics, and performance—the accessible starting point for reflection.

THE FUNCTIONAL ENGINE

XL2

Experience and learning integrated through Locality, Polarity, and Loops.

THE PHYSICAL CAPACITY

BASIS

Brain structures, networks, resources, reserve, and the conditions supporting processing.

Explore the three XL2 questions.

Each pair brings a different contribution. Fit depends on what the situation requires.

Where is your information coming from?

Internal experience versus external environment.

Supplied Internal processing illustration

Internal

Memory, imagination, expectations, personal values, and internally generated meaning.

Supplied External processing illustration

External

Present conditions, other people, observable events, interaction, and external feedback.

Internally grounded. Externally connected.Ask: What relevant information from either source have I not yet considered?

How are you shaping it?

Converge to the thing versus expand to the context.

Supplied Vertical processing illustration

Vertical

Define, prioritize, organize, and converge toward sufficient clarity and commitment.

Supplied Horizontal processing illustration

Horizontal

Explore relationships, alternatives, context, and possibilities that could change the view.

Clear enough to act. Open enough to revise.Ask: Does this moment call for a sharper focus, a wider context, or a shift between them?

What’s guiding your response?

Cortical-thinking versus subcortical-feeling.

Supplied Cortical · thinking processing illustration

Cortical · thinking

Goals, organization, planning, comparison, and deliberate control guide the response.

Supplied Subcortical · feeling processing illustration

Subcortical · feeling

Salience, feeling, value, urgency, and motivation bring the significance of experience forward.

Organized thinking. Felt significance.Ask: What does the feeling tell me matters, and what considered response would fit?

The supplied illustrations are conceptual artwork, not measurements of brain activity. These are changing processing emphases, not personality types or diagnostic scores. Complete Processing means fitting the situation while keeping relevant contributions available; it does not require equal emphasis.

How does this translate to teams and systems?

Keep Locality and Polarity. Use Regulatory Direction for the third dimension: top-down regulation driven by goals, rules, or models, and bottom-up signaling driven by salient information. The systems template calls this feedback control driven versus feedforward signal driven. This is a functional comparison; organizations do not have literal cortical or subcortical anatomy.

BRING IT INTO YOUR DAY

One moment. One useful adjustment.

Use a real situation. Read your current emphasis, compare it with the demand, and choose a next move you can actually try.

Your next-move practice

Reflection only. Entries stay on this page unless you copy or download them. Refreshing clears them. Fields marked * are required.

1. Notice your current emphasis *

Choose the emphases you notice. You do not need to be certain to begin.

2. Compare with the moment
3. Prime your next move
Return after you act: reflect and recalibrate
Learning closes the loop.

Return to what happened, then adjust the next attempt.

  1. Prime
  2. Perform
  3. Reflect
  4. Recalibrate
Think completely. Act with clarity.
