to the person in front of you.
Small pauses. Everyday moments.
Meet the moment clearly.
Start with your own situation below, or explore one of these fictional practice examples.
Arrive with a fresh view.
Familiarity is useful. Check whether yesterday’s expectations fit what is happening today.
Hear the whole concern.
Notice the person’s perspective alongside the task. What context needs your attention?
Make the next message clear.
Bring observations, questions, and felt concern into a focused conversation with the PT.
Your next responsible move
A moment to Prime.
Read the moment. Then read yourself.
Focus on yourself in one situation. Estimate what the moment needs, then notice your current emphasis.
Use before or after care, when you can pause safely. Follow PT direction and the plan of care. Keep entries about your own processing; omit patient details and confidential information.
Three ways to check your fit.

The Syncohere method
Complete enough
for the next move.
Connect experience with learning. Include what materially matters. Act with clarity, then stay open to what the result teaches you.
These are changing processing emphases. Use them to understand your own response and choose an adjustment.
Locality · Where is your information coming from?
Internal: your experience, knowledge, expectations, and values.
External: present observations, the person’s communication, PT guidance, and the environment.
Ask: “What am I bringing to this moment, and what is this moment showing me?”
Polarity · How are you shaping it?
Vertical: converge toward a clear task, priority, or decision.
Horizontal: expand to relevant context, relationships, and possibilities.
Ask: “What needs definition, and what else needs consideration?”
Loops · What’s guiding your response?
Cortical: organized thinking, goals, comparison, and deliberate response.
Subcortical: felt value, concern, salience, significance, and motivation.
Ask: “How can my thinking be informed by what I feel and what matters here?”
Prime, perform, reflect, recalibrate
Choose a small adjustment. Try it when appropriate. Compare the result with what you expected. Keep what helped, consider what you missed, and begin the next moment with a better-informed view.
