Pause with purpose.
See the person. Read the moment.
Choose your next move.

Your processing. This moment.

A small pause.
A more complete view.

Use one step or move through all six. Notice your emphasis, bring in what is missing, and learn from what happens next.

The guided check-in

What would help right now?

Your own processing is the focus.
Use brief, non-identifying notes.

01 · Orient

What does this situation require?

Begin with what is happening now. Separate the actual demand from what you expected.

A question to keep openAm I responding to the actual demand—or to the demand I expected?

02 · BASIS

What can I support right now?

Check your available capacity and the reserve you may need if the situation changes.

What feels constrained? Select any that apply.
Protect enough room to change.A workable response fits the capacity available in this moment.

03 · XL2

How am I processing this?

Read all three dimensions together. Notice your current emphasis and choose what this moment could use more of.

Seek fit with the situation.Equal emphasis is not the goal. Retain what is useful and recruit a complementary contribution when it is needed.
How the three dimensions work together

Locality concerns the source of information. Polarity concerns how it is shaped. Loops concerns what guides your response. Internal does not automatically mean Vertical or Cortical; each dimension can change independently.

Your selections describe perceived emphasis. “Both present” does not by itself show that their contributions are well integrated.

These are reflection choices, not scores, fixed types, or measurements of brain activity.

04 · MIND

What meaning am I making?

Notice how your processing is becoming a conclusion, a communication, or a choice.

Perception → Meaning → Judgment → Intention → Communication → Choice → Action

05 · Bishop Circuits

What needs recalibrating?

Keep what fits. Reopen what has become too narrow, too reactive, or disconnected from the present demand.

Reopen → Differentiate → Introduce → Reintegrate → RestabilizeBring a neglected contribution into relationship with what is already useful.
Capacity, processing, meaning, and action

BASIS provides capacity. XL2 coordinates processing. MIND expresses the resulting experience and response. Bishop Circuits support contextual monitoring and recalibration throughout their interaction. Praxis carries the response into action and returns consequences as learning.

06 · Praxis

Make one move. Learn from it.

Choose the smallest responsible action. State what you expect before acting, then compare it with what happens.

Return · Observe + compare

What actually happened?

Step 1 of 6

Need a shorter pause?

The 30-second reset.

Five questions. One moment of attention.
Use them at your own pace.

What am I missing?

Complete enough to act.
Open enough to learn.
