Rehab in
rhythm.

Read capacity. Organize the next step. Learn from the response.

Eight scenarios. One adaptive learning loop.

PRIME → PERFORM → REFLECT → RECALIBRATEPurpose. Precision. Adaptability.

Practice decisions on screen. No physical movement required. This is a learning simulation, not a treatment protocol. Actual movement, assistance, precautions and dosing follow the treating PT’s assessment and plan. Photographs are illustrative, not technique instructions.

The practice library

Choose your next challenge.

Check readiness, build a sequence, make XL2 decisions and name what you notice through MIND. Pausing and adapting are part of success.

The interactive library requires JavaScript. In Squarespace, view the published page outside the editor on a plan that supports JavaScript Code Blocks.

Learning points only. No speed bonus, clinical rating or flow-state score.

How a round works

First check BASIS capacity. Put the scenario’s model steps in order. Then respond to Locality, Polarity and Loops decisions, adapt to a changed condition, and select the most direct MIND focus. Finish with one useful next adjustment. Incorrect choices receive feedback and must be repaired before continuing.

Drag sequence cards or use their up/down buttons. Guided practice includes learning cues; independent challenge withholds those cues before the first response. All four sequence lengths retain the full eight-step content by grouping related actions.

Learning points use first responses and the first sequence check. Hints remain available and are recorded as support. The points do not measure treatment benefit, clinical competence, neural activity or flow. Completed game records stay in this browser when storage is available; reflection text is not automatically saved. Do not enter patient identifiers.

Think completely. Act with clarity.

One system. Three connected views.

BASIS provides interconnected capacity. XL2 organizes and integrates present experience with prior learning. MIND makes the resulting experience accessible. They interact recursively, not as three isolated compartments.

BASIS Capacity

Brain Architecture Substrate Interconnected System. The physical brain and biological capacity: structures, pathways, resources, energy, reserve and operating conditions.

In these PT scenarios, ask what today’s available capacity supports. Keep that question connected to the activity’s physical demands, precautions and required assistance. Equipment and room layout are relevant context; they are not themselves biological BASIS.

Prime: What capacity is available, and what does this task require today?

XL2 Processing

Experience and Learning-Integrated. The adaptive functional organization of current experience and prior learning. All three dimensions can operate together.

Locality · Internal ↔ ExternalWhere is your information coming from?

Internal: memory, expectation, personal meaning and private experience. External: current conditions, other people, observations and feedback.

PT example: connect the person’s remembered walking experience with today’s route and current response.

Polarity · Vertical ↔ HorizontalHow are you shaping it?

Vertical: define, prioritize, organize and converge on the next action. Horizontal: consider context, relationships, possibilities and adaptations.

PT example: broaden the context when a setup does not fit, then select a precise next trial. These terms do not describe upward or sideways body movement.

Loops · Cortical ↔ SubcorticalWhat’s guiding your response?

Cortical: goal-based thinking, planning, comparison and controlled response. Subcortical: salience, feeling, value, urgency and motivation.

PT example: use the felt importance of independence to inform an organized plan, without letting urgency override the required support.

Neither pole is universally better. Fit does not require a permanent 50/50 balance. These are functional learning descriptions, not fixed personality types or measurements of specific brain activity.

MIND Experience

Manifest Integrated Neural Dynamics. The lived and consciously accessible expression of perception, feeling, understanding, judgment, intention, agency and response.

ExperienceExposure + Saturation

What is encountered, and how does it register, persist, change or fade?

Notice the input and its continuing effect.
AwarenessAttention + Orientation

What receives priority, and how is the person situated in relation to it?

Notice cue selection, frame, position and direction.
DynamicsLoad + Agency

What must processing carry, and what capacity and means are available to act?

Notice the demand and available means.
PerformanceFunction + Approach

What processes are used, and how is their application organized?

Notice the process and the practical strategy.

The quiz asks for the most direct focus in the stated observation, not the only relevant area. A MIND focus is not permanently assigned to one XL2 pole or one rehabilitation activity.

Prime → Perform → Reflect → Recalibrate

Define a meaningful target, match the challenge to available capacity, use a clear cue, notice the response and revise the next move. In this game, “performance” means an appropriate response under the present conditions—not maximal speed or effort.

Learning points describe game responses only. The game does not establish improved rehabilitation outcomes or certify that someone has entered a flow state.
